Rolling Fields is a conceptual design that explores the connection between the city and the countryside.
The project uses Hangzhou's Qingshan Village as a study site, where there are three types of people: farmers, villagers and tourists, all of whom live in the village but surprisingly have little interaction with each other. The design attempts to eliminate the differences in the perception of vernacular culture among the different groups of people and to transform the remaining space in the village into a positive space that can bring people together.

PRO-LAB is an innovative consulting and design team with an emphasis on multidisciplinary intersection, thinking in multiple dimensions to achieve interdisciplinary collaboration. Design is a complex process, including innovative practice, interdisciplinary research and ubiquitous sense of responsibility. We want to confront social issues authentically and effectively in our design process.

Research
In addition to engineering practice, we conduct in-depth research on industry development and project strategy. The research team and the expert think tank will combine urban design, new retail business, medical care, indoor environmental psychology and other topics with media communication for professional research.
Obligation
Social responsibility itself is to create more value for the society, thus promoting social progress. The diversity of values creates the diversity of design. The embodiment of commercial value, environmental value, cultural value and historical value is the embodiment of the sense of responsibility of design. We value the value of each project in the design process and the thinking about social responsibility.
LAB
As designers in the new industry environment, all the above attempts are our responses to the current and future urban development behavior. LAB is both experimental and innovative.
WJ STUDIO's three projects: Roll Up the Fields in Qingshan Village, Huanglong Island Hotel in Dongjutou Village, and Boatyard Hotel in Shanwan Village investigate the interaction between urban and rural areas from three perspectives: site, building, and interior.
PRO-LAB has always been standing at the boundary of design, and looking at design from an external perspective, an industry that is closely intertwined with humanities and society.
