Ms. Bao Ge's architectural career began at the China Academy of Art, where she studied under Mr. Wang Shu and acquired a solid foundation in architecture. She furthered her education by obtaining dual master's degrees in Urban Regeneration and Development and Architecture from the University of Manchester and University College London in the UK, and then pursued a Ph.D. in Architecture at Columbia University in the United States, focusing on urban renewal and urban structural development, These experiences allowed her to integrate Eastern and Western architectural concepts, providing theoretical support for her future practice.
As a certified architect by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and a nationally registered senior engineer, Ms. Bao Ge has accumulated extensive practical experience at international design firms such as SYBARITE, FOSTER + PARTNERS, and AEDAS.
Her work centers on the concept of "symbiosis," emphasizing the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature, cities and culture. She advocates for a design approach that respects history, incorporates modern technology, and integrates ecological concepts to create forward-looking and sustainable architectural spaces.
